The Nursery students worked on their Arts and Crafts. They made paper trains using shapes.
The Pre-K students played mini basketball and developed their gross motor skills.
The K-1 students made paper kites and reviewed the Letter K during Phonics.
The K-2 students made paper plate animal masks during Arts and Crafts.
The K-3 students received a postcard from their pen pals in Kansas. They learned all about tornadoes and the aviation industry in Kansas.
April 18th-22nd, 2016
The Nursery students learned to pronounce and read the names of colors and animals.
The Pre-K students worked on the letter “R” during Phonics this week.
The K-1 students worked on writing and counting the numbers 16 and 17 during Math.
During Math, the K-2 students worked on addition equations. The students also enjoyed counting and spelling during Puzzles.
The K-3 students received a postcard from their Pen Pals in Texas, USA. The students learned about the rodeo, dude ranch, and about how cowboys/cowgirls dress. The students also got the chance to make their own version of s’mores.

The Nursery students counted numbers, identified colors and shapes, and sang nursery songs.
The Pre-K students refined their motor skills during Playdough. During Phonics, the students learned about the letter “O”.
During Math, the K-1 students learned about addition. They also worked on their “Colors” Workbook.
During Reading, the K-2 students reviewed their sight words by writing down sentences.
The K-3 students received a postcard from their Pen Pals in Hawaii, USA. The students learned how the country is made up of islands and volcanoes. The students also learned about surfing, the luau, and tasted macadamia chocolates.
