Highlights
Week 3:
August 29th - September 2nd, 2016
The Nursery Class created a picture of a bee, using cut-out shapes during Creative Activities.
The Pre-K students enhanced their fine motor skills during Puzzles time.
During Language Arts, the K-1 students learned to pronounce the phonetic sound of the letter “B”.
The K-2 students practiced spelling the words: “I”, “Me”, and “Too” during Language Arts.
During Drama, the K-3 students learned about facial expressions. For practice, the students made imaginative drawings of their expressions.
Week 2:
August 22nd-26th, 2016
During Active Learning, the Nursery students learned about different movements.
The Pre-K students learned about numbers 0 and 1, while counting using play dough.
The K-1 students read “Goodnight Gorilla” as a class and learned to pronounce the sound of letter “A”.
During Math, the K-2 students reviewed and counted numbers 0-100 as a class.
The K-3 students created the replica of famous monuments in the world using building blocks and legos.
