Week 26:
February 27th - March 3rd, 2017
The Nursery students enhanced their fine motor skills by connecting building blocks.
The Pre-K students practiced writing the number "0".
The K-1 students reviewed the letters “X” and "Y". They also learned to read words that start with “X” and "Y".
The K-2 students worked on subtraction equations during Math.
The K-3 students challenged each other in the water bottle flipping challenge, during Physical Education.
Week 25:
February 20th-24th, 2017
The Nursery students enhanced their fine motor skills by using puppets.
The Pre-K students made flower gardens during Arts and Crafts.
The K-1 students reviewed the letter “W”. They also learned to read words that start with “W”.
The K-2 students read “Guessing Game” during Language Arts.
The K-3 students discussed about the water cycle during Science.
They learned about collection, evaporation, condensation, and precipitation.
Week 24:
February 14th-17th, 2017
The Nursery students enhanced their fine motor skills by picking up the telephone and answering it.
The Pre-K students discussed about clothing during Active Learning.
The K-1 students made Cat Finger Puppets during Arts and Crafts.
The K-2 students received a postcard from their pen pals in Alaska, USA. The students learned about the weather and discussed why Alaska has eight months of winter.
The K-3 students reviewed their Sight Words using computer games.
Week 23:
February 6th-10th, 2017
The Nursery students practiced throwing, kicking, and bouncing balls, during Physical Development.
The Pre-K students worked on the letter “K” during Phonics.
The K-1 students practiced jumping, crawling, and climbing, during Physical Education.
The K-2 students played the A-tisket A-tasket circle game, during Physical Education.
The K-3 students made Valentine’s Puppets, during Arts and Crafts.
