Highlights
Week 30:
March 28th- April 1st, 2016
During Arts and Crafts, the Nursery students worked on their art collage.















The Pre-K students counted and identified numbers 1-10 during Math.
The K-1 students had their Phonics and Reading Test this week. The students were tested on their knowledge of the phonetic sounds and their vocabularies.










The K-2 students had their Phonics and Reading Test this week. The students were tested on their knowledge of the phonetic sounds and rhyming words.










The K-3 students received a postcard from their Pen Pals in New Orleans, Louisiana. The students learned about the different types of delicious foods and the types of music the locals enjoy.
Week 29:
March 21st-25th, 2016
The Nursery students worked on solving puzzles during Active Learning.






The Pre-K students practiced dancing to “Heigh Ho” and “Old MacDonald Had A Farm” during Nursery Rhymes.
The K-1 students enjoyed running their own Ice-Cream Parlour during Active Learning.
During Show and Tell, the K-2 students talked about and shared their toys with their friends.
The K-3 students made grape flavoured jello during Active Learning.
Week 28:
March 14th-18th, 2016
During Arts and Crafts, the Nursery students use different colors and shapes to make their “Under The Sea” art project.













The Pre-K students learned about the letter “J”, during Phonics this week. The students learned to color and trace the letter.
The K-1 students enjoyed playing with the slides during Physical Education.
During Active Learning, the K-2 students made strawberry jelly.
The K-3 students worked on their aquatic drawings during Arts and Crafts.









Week 27:
March 7th-11th, 2016
The Nursery students practiced kicking and throwing balls during Physical Education.
The Pre-K students enhanced their fine motor skills during Play Dough time.




During Science, the K-1 students learned about the concept of liquid, solid, and gas.








The K-2 students played Hopscotch. They've practiced jumping with one and both legs during Physical Education.
The K-3 students had their weekly Phonics quiz. For this unit, they were tested on spelling the Days of the Week.








Week 26:
February 29th- March 4th, 2016
The Nursery students enhanced their logical thinking skills through puzzles. They also danced and sang nursery rhymes.
The Pre-K students danced and sang nursery rhymes. The songs include: “The Wheels On The Bus”, “Left and Right”, “Little Finger”, and “She’ll Be Coming Round The Mountain”.
During Arts and Crafts, the K-1 students learned to identify colors and assemble shapes.
The K-2 students classified the differences between fruits and vegetables during Social Studies.
During Mathematics, the K-3 students learned about identifying “greater than” and “less than” symbols.
