During Logical Reasoning, the Nursery students learned how to place shapes of different sizes in correct order.
The Pre-K students practiced pronouncing the names of shapes and colors during Thinking Skills.
The K-1 students read the book, “School”, during Reading and made cards for their parents during Arts and Crafts.
The K-2 students read and wrote sentences from their Sight Word book, “Three”.
The K-3 students received a postcard from their pen pals in Florida, USA. The students learned about the different tourist attractions in Florida. They also learned about Florida’s Number One wildlife residents: Alligators.

During Learn From The World, the Nursery students learned about the sense of taste, by tasting sweet and salty flavors.
During Active Learning, the Pre-K students learned to count and form shapes out of play dough.
The K-1 students reviewed their sight words from the books, “Up and Down” and “Me Too”.
The K-2 students participated in a marathon during Physical Education.
The K-3 students received a postcard from their pen pals in North Carolina, USA. The students learned about battleships and aircraft carriers that were used during the World War 2. The students also learned about “Pepsi”, which was first introduced in the state of North Carolina.

During Active Learning, the Nursery students fostered their gross motor skills, by kicking, throwing, and catching balls.
The Pre-K students worked on tracing the letter “V”, and pronouncing many words that start with “V”.
The K-1 students read their first sight words book this week. The book is called “Up and Down”.
The K-2 students learned about how the Earth experiences day and night during Science. They learned about the Earth’s rotations around its own axis, and how the Earth’s axial tilt can influence the length of daytime and nighttime.
The K-3 students received their postcard from their pen pals in Idaho, USA. They learned about farming potatoes and how to play American Football.

The Nursery students danced to nursery rhymes in preparation for the School’s Annual Concert. They also played with puzzles and read storybooks.
The Pre-K students worked on the letters “T” and “U” during Phonics.
The K-1 students worked on counting and writing numbers 10-20. They also focused on identifying colors and shapes during Math.
The K-2 students read “Go Go” and reviewed their sight words, “Go” and “They” during Reading.
During Math, the K-3 students focused on addition and subtraction for the majority of the week.
