November 2016 

Highlights

The Nursery students made chicken paper plates during Arts and Crafts.

During Active Learning, the Pre-K students learned about shapes and colors.

The K-1 students learned how to draw the body of a butterfly during Arts and Crafts.

During Physical Education, the K-2 students practiced throwing at targets. 

During Science, the K-3 students learned about lifecycles. The class focused on the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Week 15:

November 28th - December 2nd, 2016

Week 14:

November 21st-25th , 2016

During Physical Development, the Nursery students practiced swinging the baseball bat.

During Physical Education, the Pre-K students ran, walked, hopped, and crawled, fostering their gross motor skills.

The K-1 students sang their phonetic song, focusing on letters A-L.

The K-2 students received a postcard from their pen pals in New Jersey, USA. The class discussed about the length of dinosaurs and made replicas of fossils. 

During Language Arts, the K-3 students practiced their rhyming words and identifying long and short vowels.

Week 13:

November 7th-11th , 2016

The Nursery students sang and danced to nursery rhymes.

The Pre-K students read about “My Stuffed Animal” and colored stuffed animal drawings.

During Science, K-1 students learned about the difference between living and non-living things.

The K-2 students cut out numbers 1-20 and rearranged them in correct sequence.

During Arts and Crafts, K-3 students made goldfish paper plates.

Week 12:

October 31st - November 4th, 2016

During Creative Activities, the Nursery students built their own trumpets using tissue paper rolls.

The Pre-K students learned about the human body during Active Learning.

The K-1 students practiced relay racing during Physical Education.

The K-2 students received a postcard from their pen pals in Taiwan. The class discussed about the national flag, popular foods, and popular tourist attractions in Taiwan. 

The K-3 students played interactive Math games, in which they practiced their addition skills.
